Pumping Oil Using Coal in Colorado

In what Treehugger writer John Laumer calls the Climate Trifecta," Bullion Monarch Mining Co., is proposing to produce oil from oil shale using coal gasification, which they label as a "clean coal" technology.

In Bullion's release they state that the project will have "CO2 sequestering capabilities." This, of course, is different than actually capturing and storing the heat-trapping gases that are the cause of climate change.

I emailed Bullion Monarch 2 days ago asking when they expect to begin capturing and stroring the greenhouse gas their operationwill produce and they have not replied.

Difficult situation

Oh what a difficult situation where mass needs for energy is at a premium and so is what we use, how we use it and what methods are taken to extract. Designer Radiators

COAL....

Coal mining should not be done on a large scale.... It can affect the environment, also it's burning causes a lot of pollution... grey water

Diamonds are nothing more

Diamonds are nothing more than chunks of coal that stuck to their jobs.
